Dr Alavi Sheriffdeen School for Pioneers is dedicated to providing a nurturing and growth-oriented environment for curious young minds. Our passion for learning is aimed at excellence. We are an early learning academy that provides globally acclaimed learning techniques centred on numeracy, literacy and Socio-emotional development. Our students depart with a solid academic foundation, knowledge, confidence, and practical life skills to serve their communities and conquer the world.
Programs
Empowering Underprivileged Youth Through Education
Students of DASSP come from diverse backgrounds. However, the common determinant is that they are all impoverished and neglected. DASSP caters to orphaned children, those from single-parent households, and those below the poverty line.
Since nearly all who attend DASSP lack domestic academic support, we specialise in providing additional tutoring to assist students in their standard school education. This includes academic support in all subjects, including exam-oriented guidance and creating a quiet, focus-driven learning atmosphere to help students concentrate on their studies. Students are provided with afternoon tea to keep them nourished while they engage in their academic work.
The age group of students ranges from 12 years to 20 years. The institute functions from afternoon to late evening, which allows students to attend school during the standard school hours and attend DASSP afterwards.

Moral, Academic and Personal Development
Students of DASSP are expected to elicit the highest form of discipline at all times and in all circumstances. DASSP places a strict emphasis on character development and healthy behavioural growth.
We make a concentrated effort to instil good manners and disciplined behaviour in our students. Troubled children and youth will be given special care and attention. They will be counselled by experienced behavioural experts and faculty members to inculcate positive values.
DASSP practises a strict implementation of moral, academic and disciplined education on its students. It offers a combination of both, standardised and unstructured learning models for students to diversify their experience in their moral and academic discipline.
We also encourage parents and guardians to be part of their child’s academic journey to ensure that they are consistent in their educational growth.
